Inuit travel routes

Inuit depend on a deep understanding of their environment and animals in order to be able to hunt and fish. While travel routes vary based on ice, weather, and animal migration patterns, some commonly used routes are depicted on the map. These routes were identified in a local knowledge study conducted by Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
